100% non-superwash merino wool yarn in DK weight (24 mic)
100g = 250m = 273yd
Recommended needle/hook size: 4.0mm to 5.0mm; Tension: 18 sts x 26 rows in 10 cm (4 in) over st st using 4.5mm needles.
Care instructions: hand wash cold, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat, do not sun dry, spin or tumble dry.
Description: Made from 100% non-superwash merino (24 micron), Woolly Merino DK is a soft, lofty and lightweight yarn with a lovely bloom when knitted up. This eco-friendly yarn is woollen spun which means the fibres are not combed during production. Unlike worsted spun yarns, the strands of our Woolly Merino Sport lie in different directions. This creates lots of air pockets that trap warmth and so the yarn produces insulating garments that don’t weigh you down. Soft to begin with, the yarn softens even more after washing.
